Welcome to the world of Social Media. For the first time in history there is a convergence of digital technology via the Internet, allowing you to connect and communicate with your customers in new ways. User-generated content can dramatically change the way companies do business. A good review by your customer can circumnavigate the globe in seconds and replicate itself a thousand-fold just as fast. So can a bad review. Customers can discover new ways to use your product and share it with thousands, even millions, of others via powerful social networking applications. Social Media is changing the face of politics, big business, religious institutions, start-ups, technology, individuals, careers, the stock markets, nonprofits, and it is affecting all of our bottom lines. While it may be subtle now, its influence is growing to tsunami proportions. The individuals and business that understand and are prepared to harness Social Media will rise to the top and ride the wave, while the others may be washed away by it.
The Social Media Bible is in the early stages of development, and your feedback would be greatly appreciated. You're invited to be a part of Lon's review panel. Begin Your Review Now. For more information read The Back Story.
