I'm in the midst of writing my first draft and on target to have it done by July
15, 2008. Let me tell you, 500 reviewers and two virtual focus
groups (thanks to my friends at AuthorBound) have given me A LOT of
confidence about the approach I'm taking in this book.
I've had many of my reviewers ask me when the book is going to be done. It's great to have a lot of people tell you that they can't wait to buy your book or share it with a sister, friend or colleague. As a professional speaker, I'm used to immediate feedback from my audience. In contrast, writing a book can be a lonely pursuit, but I'm getting it done. And loving it. You might expect me to say that this book is going to be a huge success. I do feel that way. Not because of ego, but because, as the AuthorBound folks like to say, I'm "leveraging the wisdom of my crowd." I love my crowd, and their input and experiences have been a tremendous help to me.
