Corporations engaging Nancy to speak at her retreats, training and keynote speeches will contractually be required to purchase copies of It's All About the Shoes for all employees and attendees.
This prospective author has the ability and potential to easily make
corporate sales. She regularly leads retreats, corporate training, and
keynote speeches
from the main stage at large conferences. One such client, Microsoft,
handpicked Nancy to troubleshoot the common corporate problem of why
women
leave the corporation. When corporations engage her immediately before
and once the book is published, they will be contractually required to
purchase copies of “Shoes” for all employees or attendees. This will
apply to retreat, speech, and (training) facilitation engagements. Her
existing corporate and association clients have expressed great
interest in this book. In fact, to a large extent, it is at the urging
of these clients that she decided to put the principles she has been
teaching for eighteen years in book form. (A partial list of her clients
is included below.)
With a built-in email platform to drive online and bookstore sales, every
weekday, thousands of individuals who have opted-in receive Nancy's daily quotes called “Windows of Wisdom."
Subscribers are located throughout the U.S. and abroad, and are
primarily audience members who have seen Nancy speak, or managers in
corporations who have attended her retreats or participated in her training.
Nancy's blog, www.TheSolomonFactor.com is another internet portal for
prospective book buyers and influencers to find and purchase “Shoes.”
Her success and track record selling other materials to her target
market will the increase potential to cross-sell the “shoes” book to
those who have already
purchased her audio CD set, and “Courage of Leadership” window cards. And her experience at back-of-the-room sales, after keynote addresses to
associations and women’s conferences increases sales potential. Please see client list for examples.
Committed to a ten-city, cross-country book tour tied to speaking
engagements and retreats, Nancy Solomon is querying and interviewing
publicists who can drive local, regional and national publicity around
the book tour specifically and the book release in general. Ideopolis, a southern California branding company, as been retained to build brand identity and promote the book.
Also committed to a viral-marketing campaign including YouTube videos
and other search-engine friendly marketing strategies. Nancy has signed up
to attend a marketing and promotion event in Boston in May to
specifically start that program.
As a member of eWomenPublishing Network , as an author member of eWomenPublishingNetwork, I will:
- Be interviewed on the eWomenNetwork radio show, on the ABC affiliate, 820 WBAP. This radio show is the largest businesswomen's radio program in the country, with an average of 400,000 listeners every quarter-hour of broadcast.
- Have the opportunity to speak at the 100-plus eWomenNetwork chapters nationwide that gather monthly in groups of 50 to 100. Each chapter sends out four notices of the event to their database, prior to the speaker's appearance. The size of the database averages 2,000 people per chapter. If only half of the chapters are included in a promotional tour, it still represents over 360,000 impressions of me and my book.
- Be considered to speak at the eWomenNetwork International Conference. The conference averages 2,000 attendees each year.
- Be considered for the International Speaker Showcase at the eWomenNetwork Conference. Over 200 eWomenNetwork chapter Managing Directors and major corporate event planners attended the Showcase at the last national conference.
- Be listed and promoted in the eWomenPublishingNetwork.com Online Bookstore, including a professionally written book review, on a site getting over 200,000 hits a day.
- Be honored at a Book launch party.
- Have my book-related articles promoted in over 60 women's regional magazines through their magazine partners, including the Women's Regional Publishing Association (WRPA).
- Have a professional book review appear and articles promoted in the eWomenNetwork eMagazine. Over 500,000 professionals receive the magazine.
To support her eWomen Network effort, Nancy has procured the URL www.ItsAllAboutTheShoesBook.com. and is developing branding for this site.
She also owns the registered trademark WomenThink, and the URL
www.WomenThink.com. This website (also currently in
design and under production) will be the go-to place for resources to
support and empower women, for corporations and the people who work for
them.
An active member of many philanthropic and industry organizations Nancy currently serves on the board of the YWCA and is a former
board member of WBO. Nancy has also earned the elite certification of
WBENC , as a woman-owned business.
